Apple and blackberry crumble


A crisp in the US is a crumble in Australia.

3 cups sliced apples
1 cup frozen blackberries
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup plain wholemeal flour
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup walnuts
80 g softened butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven to 190 ÂșC. Arrange fruit in 18 x 28 cm pan. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over fruit. Bake 30 minutes. Serve with ice cream, custard, yogurt or cream.
