Spanish omelette made with potato, red capsicum, spinach, eggs and Parmesan cheese. Served with steamed green beans, bread and a salad of lettuce and baby Roma tomatoes.
For dessert: rockmelon topped with yogurt and honey.
It's funny, I was just this evening rejoicing (quietly, to myself, and feeling dorky because I was rejoicing) that the kids have started to eat MY yogurt, which is Yoplait Yoplus Natural; the only ingredients are milk and yogurt cultures. Usually they prefer a different natural yogurt brand which is sweetened with concentrated fruit juices, which is pretty much just plain sugar anyway. It's a pretty good option but I prefer no added sugar (mind you we're adding the sugar via honey anyway) It's like the brown rice thing, now that they've actually agreed to eat brown rice / unsweetened yogurt, I'll have to make sure I *never* have white rice /sweetened yogurt until their palates prefer it naturally. does that make sense?
